Meet Honey! If ever a name was suited, this is the purr-fect name for this wee soul.Honey is just that! But for such a sweet little girl, Honey has had a rough start in her short life of 9 months.Once, she was somebody's kitten. Now a stray, dumped and abandoned, little Honey got pregnant and then she was hit by a car and severely fractured her back right leg.A Good Samaritan found Honey and took her into her home where she aborted 2 premature stillborn babies. Then Animalert was contacted and Honey has had the best care possible.

Honey has been treated for pyrometria, a life threatening infection of the uterus and her leg had to be amputated due to the severity of the fracture and it was also infected. She was spayed, vaccinated and now is recuperating in tender loving hands. Honey is a very good patient and has the most beautiful personality. She's a darling girl and very happy to be alive and on the road to recovery.

Honey's medical bill reached the $3000 mark. Animalert is a registered non- profit charity (Charity Registration #869125294RR0001) and depends on the donations of the public so we are reaching out and asking for help to cover the cost of Honey's medical bills. You can donate here on this tab through Canada Helps; and receive a tax receipt for donations over $10.Thank you so much!t  ...
